Stress & Anxiety
A lot of the stress & anxiety we experience is connected to the conditioning and programming we all have from society, family & education. The pressure to constantly ‘be more’, ‘do more and ‘have more’ often creates a huge amount of stress and angst within us which can build up over time until we lose the ability to relax.
Some common causes of stress include:
- Feeling overloaded, unable to cope and under pressure
- Life changing events such as; moving house, getting married or having a baby.
- Money worries & problems at work
- Relationship issues
- Not having enough time in one day
- Having too much on our minds
Understanding the importance of your mind & body being able to relax is essential for your long term wellbeing. If we cannot truly relax even when there is a moment to do so our bodies cannot self-heal and function optimally to maintain good health. It is well understood that stress is one of the leading causes of illness & disease. It also weakens our immune system making us more susceptible.
