Panic attacks can start for many reasons such as stress, overworking, bereavement, family, an accident, childbirth, following surgery and so on.

If you have subsequent panic attacks, they too may seem to be unpredictable and random. There is now emerging evidence that anxiety panic & feelings of terror or fear may be a genetic link…

Most of us accept that we can genetically get a condition like panic attacks from our family.

It stands to reason that the condition or outcome is the panic attack itself.

Answer: The emotions causing the feelings & emotions that create the panic attack itself!

Much like a computer we are literally ‘programmed’ with beliefs and feelings. The negative ones create blocks within our lives and illnesses over time. Core beliefs are very deep emotional beliefs that often we are not even aware of and are created when we are very young.

It is now understood that we can inherit beliefs and emotions from our parents and ancestors, they are passed down to us in our cellular memory. This is often the reason for inherited physical illnesses and diseases that are passed through generations.

During the first 6 to 7 years of our childhood many negative beliefs are also created within us, which cause us difficulties in later years and if ignored in the longer term, will eventually become illnesses. These beliefs are deep within us and we are generally not aware of them as they are hidden in the subconscious mind.

What are panic attack symptoms and signs?

The symptoms of a panic attack appear suddenly, without any apparent cause. They may include:

  • Racing or pounding heartbeat (palpitations)
  • Chest pains
  • Dizziness
  • Light-headedness
  • Nausea
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Tingling or numb sensations
  • Stomach upset
  • Hot or cold flashes
  • Strong feelings of fear, terror, anxiety etc.
  • The feeling of being trapped – the need to escape.
